Three people, including Imam, were killed in bomb attacks in a mosque in Kabul’s capital Kabul. More than 20 were wounded.
The attacks took place during Friday prayers at Kabul’s al-Taqwa mosque. Religious devotees gathered at the mosque to offer prayers at that time.
A local police official told Qatar-based media al Jazeera that during the Friday prayers, bombs were attached to the microphone of the mosque Imam Mawlana Shamimullah Raihan.
Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrai Rahimi said the mosque killed in the attack was the Imam Maulana Raihan, the Afghan army and the supporters of the police. He was seen talking to the army several times.
