President Trump decides to sell arms to Saudi Arabia to deal with Iran’s ‘threat’

US President Donald Trump is going to allow Saudi Arabia to sell hundreds of dollars of arms during the tensions with Iran.

Because of this, he says Iran’s threat to Saudi Arabia is on the rise.

By passing the Congress, Saudi Arabia has been selling arms worth $ 80 billion. For this reason, he is going to take refuge in a law that is not commonly used.

President Trump says the tension with Iran has reached such a stage that it has become a national issue urgently.

Many people think that the Saudi-led military can use these weapons against Yemen’s civilian people.

Many anti-Democratic party leaders have sharply criticized the initiative to sell arms to Saudi Arabia by passing the Congress. They say it was opposed if the offer was raised in Capitol Hill.

It is said that in addition to Saudi Arabia, the United States is going to sell a lot of arms to the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Foreign Minister Mike Pompey informed Congress about Friday’s decision to sell this weapon.

In a letter he told it, the US news has stated, so that he said, “This decision has been taken to sell arms immediately because of Iran’s hostile activities.”

Iran’s various activities have become a major threat to the stability of the Middle East, and threatens US security, inside and outside the country,” he said.”

He said Iran should not have any ‘adventurous’ activities in the Gulf region and in the Middle East – so they must sell these weapons as soon as possible.

The decision is strongly criticized as opposed to the publication of the news.

Iran also protested the decision. Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said this is a dangerous decision for international peace.
